1. Accepting these terms
By browsing AfriSeat, creating an account or buying a ticket you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to purchase tickets.
2. What AfriSeat does
AfriSeat is a ticketing marketplace. Organisers create events and set ticket prices; AfriSeat sells tickets on their behalf and issues e-tickets with unique QR codes. The organiser, not AfriSeat, is responsible for the event itself.
3. Tickets and entry
- A ticket is a licence to attend one event, one time, for one person.
- Each QR code can be scanned once. Do not share screenshots publicly.
- Organisers may refuse entry for safety reasons, age limits or breach of venue rules.
- Tickets may not be resold above face value or for commercial purposes.
4. Prices, fees and payment
Prices are shown in Kenyan shillings (KES). A 3% service fee applies to paid tickets and is shown before you pay. Promo codes apply to the ticket subtotal. Payment is by M-Pesa, card or Airtel Money.
Group orders of 10 or more tickets receive bulk discounts. Invoice orders reserve tickets until the invoice is paid.
5. Online events
Online tickets give access to a private join link. Do not share it. Sessions run in East Africa Time (UTC+3). Recording or redistributing a session is not allowed unless the organiser permits it.
6. Cancellations and refunds
Refunds are governed by our refund policy.
7. Organiser responsibilities
Organisers must provide accurate event information, hold the rights to the content, comply with the law and honour tickets sold. AfriSeat may remove events that are misleading or unsafe. Payouts are made after the event as described on the pricing page.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass payment or ticket checks, scrape personal data, or interfere with the website. We may suspend accounts that do.
9. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, AfriSeat is not liable for indirect losses arising from an event, including travel and accommodation costs. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. This demo site
This website is a prototype. Events, posters, prices and payments are demonstration content; no real money moves and no real tickets are issued.
